Our Fall Apple Picking Trip
Each year, in the early Fall, when the air is crisp and the early morning sun is beginning to shine, the children of the Boston Children’s School, their families and the faculty of the Boston Children’s School, board a yellow school bus and travel north to an apple farm and orchard in Massachusetts. This forty year tradition is a wonderful, treasured trip that is enjoyed by everyone. Once we arrive at the apple orchard, the BCS children and their families have an opportunity to walk the orchards and pick apples, gather pumpkins and enjoy a hayride with their family and friends. Our BCS children have time, during the colorful New England Autumn weather, to be with their classmates in an adventure that will be discussed when they return home and when they return to school. The next day at school, our Boston Children’s School kids share their experiences while baking apple pies, apple crisps and delicious apple cup cakes with the apples harvested on their trip. The personal bonds and memories of this wonderful trip often last a lifetime! Please join us for our next apple picking adventure and become part of our BCS tradition. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
